Aadhar Housing Finance limited (Aadhar), a low income group segment-focused housing finance company, has signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ITM Skills Academy to launch a one-year PG Programme in Housing Finance. The MoU was signed by Deo Shankar Tripathi, CEO, Aadhar Housing Finance ltd, and Dr PV Ramana, chairman and chancellor, ITM Group of Institutions and ITM Universities.
The programme aims to facilitate industry-academia partnership to develop competent professionals in the housing finance industry and is aligned to the Government’s flagship initiatives of creating affordable housing and accomplishing Housing for All.
ITM Skills Academy will provide quality education in the financial sector, while students undergo an industry-linked internship at Aadhar Housing Finance ltd during the course duration, which will give them a holistic understanding of the industry as well as the business. The first batch of a qualified housing finance professionals trained in various functions will be absorbed by Aadhar branches in the identified tier II and III locations post successful completion of the one-year programme. It will comprise of six months residential programme at the ITM campus, followed by six months of internship at a Aadhar branch/office.
