The Manav Rachna Educational Institutions (MREI) recently brought public speaking to the fore with the national grand finale of Group Discussion (GD) Pro Junior 2017 which aimed at honing students’ skills in group discussions. Nikita Masurkar student of DPS, Hyderabad bagged the first prize followed by DPS Noida.
The event was first conceptualised in 2013 with participants from various colleges and schools as brain child of Dr Amit Bhalla, vice president, MREI. Chief guest Rajiv Yadav, secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, appreciated the event and the exuberance with which students participated and stated in today’s fast changing world, youngsters should develop the art of thinking to contribute meaningfully and emerge as winners in the process.
