The European Higher Education Fair India 2014 (EHEF) is being organised by the European Union Delegation to India.

More than 75 higher education institutes from 23 EU member States will participate in this fair. It will be held in New Delhi on November 30 to December 1, 2014, followed by Bengaluru on December 3 and Kolkata on December 5.

It will showcase some of the best educational institutions in Europe including several which appear in the internationally renowned Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2014-2015. Speaking about the fair Dr João Cravinho, Ambassador of the European Union said: “We are proud to have participation from a number of world-ranked European universities at the EHEF India 2014, as well as many other globally recognized higher educational institutions from across the European Union.”

“Europe has always been one of the leading study and research destination for international students, offering world class educational and research institutions, high standards across disciplines, wide variety of tertiary-level courses along with the global exposure.  However, it is my impression that Indian students have not yet fully realised the vast opportunity available along with the career potential of studying in Europe, and that so many courses offered across the EU are delivered in English. We hope this fair will bridge the gap by providing the students an opportunity to interact first hand with the leading universities across Europe,” he added.

The aim of the fair is to highlight what Europe has to offer in terms of high quality and competitively priced post-graduate level education to students in India, a country with the second highest number of internationally mobile students travelling abroad for tertiary level education.
