Coursera has entered into a partnership with the Manipal Global Education Services (MaGE) to offer curated educational content to Manipal Global’s over 1.5 million active learners and the alumni community.
This will allow the Manipal learners an initial access to more than 60 high-demand specialisations and certificate programmes from the partners of the Coursera university.
The learners can skill and up-skill themselves in areas such as data science, analytics, computer science and management. At the end of the programmes, the learners will receive certifications from Coursera, the international university offering them and the Manipal Education Group.
Speaking about the partnership, Nikhil Sinha, Coursera’s Chief Business Officer said:
“Coursera was founded to help transform lives through access to high quality learning experiences and we’ve seen particular success in supporting people’s career goals.
“We realised that one of the best ways we could scale the impact ourselves and our university partners was by working with the organisations that already support people in their careers.
“In this regard, we has chosen Manipal Global, known for its quality, deep engagement and commitment to learners, as its first enterprise knowledge partner in India,” he added.
This will offer students greater access to online learning programmes and certifications from some of world’s best universities.
Manipal Global will enhance the learning experience by supplementing Coursera content with contextually relevant course material such as local case studies. learners will have access to all the content through a single sign-on.
