The National Institute of Open Schooling has recently declared the result of the first online DElEd Exam conducted during May-June, 2018 for the untrained in-service teachers. The exam comprises of three subjects:
There were total 35,23,247 candidates who appeared for the exam out of which 33,65,803 passed. Out of total 15,31,641 male candidates, 1,46,3876 passed, out of total 19,91,606 women, 19,01,927 cleared. The result in respect to 1,850 have been withheld (RW) due to alleged involvement in malpractices in the exam which are under investigation.
The result is available on NIOS website www.nios.ac.in and http://dled.nios.ac.in/. The schedule for the second exam is:
September 25, 2018 for Elementary Education, September 26 for Pedagogic Processes in Elementary Schools, September 27 for learning languages at Elementary level, September 28 for learning Mathematics at Elementary level and September 29 for learning Environmental Studies at Primary level.
The untrained teachers who have been unsuccessful in any of the subjects in the first DElEd examination have the option to get his name registered through online for re-exam to be conducted on the above dates. The schedule of registration for re-exam in the subject will close on September 7, 2018. There will be no further extension of the date.
