A blood donation camp was organised at the IP University’s Dwarka campus where faculty, staff and students voluntarily donated blood. The camp was inaugurated by the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Swati Maliwal Jaihind. Vice-chancellor of the University Prof Anil K Tyagi, pro-VC Prof Pushplata Tripathi, deputy registrars — Dr Pankaj Aggarwal and Dr Abha Vermani were also present at the event. The camp was organised with support from the Rotary Foundation. Their trained doctors and supporting staff were present on the occasion. More than 200 units of blood collected on the occasion would go to the Rotary Blood Bank, especially for dengue patients.
