How is your institute different from othersIJ

The Delhi Academy of Medical Sciences (DAMS) is the leading institute training doctors for PG medical entrance and for further education abroad. The institute has been in operation since 1999 and offers courses for young doctor preparing for further studies through its network of around 130-plus locations.  Medical education is not uniform across the country and we serve as bridge for doctors aspiring to specialise. We have painstakingly assembled an enviable quorum of well-experienced and astute faculty from leading institutes of India who have the passion to teach and share knowledge. With coming of the NEET PG this year, we have developed specific curriculum suited for that as well.

What facilities do you provide for the aspirantsIJ

We pride in our innovative methods for content delivery.  We started the India’s first Satellite based classroom in this segment with a vision to bring quality medical education to outlying students, specially those with constraints of time and travel. Its mission is to leverage tele-education and unique pedagogical practices to train, coach and educate large numbers of aspirants and help them achieve their life goals through education. We also use various social media avenues and mobile app technologies like our cloud app to provide latest updates to medicos all over the country.

We also have sub-units for PG medical entrance for doctors, another for USMlE/PlAB preparation for doctors aiming to go abroad for specialisation. We have also started a segment for dental graduates aiming to specialise, and a unit for clinical training programmes.

How will the student benefit from the course that the institute is offeringIJ

Specialisation is a must for a good medico career. With over 90,000 aspirants vying for 10,000 odd seats, competition is intense. A comprehensive, consistent and intensive preparation is required for PG-medical entrance.  We provide guidance to young doctors not only for conceptual clarity, subject coverage and MCQ orientation, but also how to peak in the exams.

How does a student go about getting admission in the instituteIJ What is the fee structureIJ

Students can register either online at damsdelhi.com or by visiting the nearest centre. Fees of the courses are variable and depend on the courses opted by the student. We also undertake a countrywide scholarship test to nurture talent and help economically challenged, meritorious students.

Tell us about the facultyIJ

Our institute today, is a cohesive force of leading doctors who are prominent educationists who have graduated from top medical colleges in India. The faculty is a lead topper of PGME. Many of our teachers are also famous clinical practitioners in their domain and are role models for young doctors.
