BA Economics
The University of Sheffield, UK, is inviting applications for BA Economics course starting in September 2019.
This degree is excellent preparation for a wide variety of careers, including as an economist, analytical roles in industry or government and for jobs in finance, banking and investment.
Having learned the core skills, students will be able to apply them to a wide variety of optional modules in your final year, including labour economics, health economics, education economics and political economy. There’s also the opportunity to undertake an independent research project.
This course give students the opportunity to do a year-long paid work placement and gain a degree with Employment Experience. Students will need to make applications for placements themselves, but guidance and support will be provided through the process by a placements team.
There are also opportunities for students to study abroad in places such as Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore or the USA without extending the length of their course. Or students have the option of extending their degree to four years by working or studying abroad in their third year and then returning to Sheffield for their final year.
Eligibility: 80 per cent marks in standard Class XII. International students need overall IELTS grade of 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in each component, or an equivalent.
Fee: £17600 per year for International students.

UG & PG programmes
The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD) in collaboration with Kingston School of Art, London, offers undergraduate programmes in fashion design, fashion business management, communication design and interior architecture & design.
It also offers postgraduate programmes in fashion design and fashion business management. The institute offers these programmes through its creative studio-based education and strives to groom the next generation of designers and design thinkers at its state-of-the-art campus in New Delhi.
Eligibility: For UG programmes, Class XII pass in any stream is required. For postgraduate programmes, graduation is mandatory from any recognised university or institutes. Students with awaited results (2019) in UG & PG are considered eligible to apply.

How to apply: Interested candidates can apply online by registering themselves at IIAD’s online application portal. For offline application, interested candidates can collect the application form at campus and submit it along with necessary documents to the IIAD admissions office.
