The TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) invites application for its newly launched TAPMI Virtual, Executive learning programme— Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Banking, Insurance & Financial Markets (BIFM) delivered through synchronous, and live mode to distributed classrooms in 27 plus cities
Specially designed for the working executives, TAPMI has created a studio infrastructure with the help of VC Now, technology partner, in the campus from where its faculty will deliver the programme at the distributed classrooms across India.
Dr Meera lB Aranha, programme head, Banking and Financial Services, said:
“Penetration of Insurance, credit card, digital payment and retail investment in stock market are extremely low in India. Thus, the entire BFSI sector is poised for a qualitative transformation and quantitative growth.”
Prof Surya, Chairman, TAPMI Virtual Executive learning, added: “The 11-month programme will be delivered through a mix of the virtual synchronous mode, campus segment, project work and off-classroom engagement. The campus segment will provide participants hands-on applied learning of Market Concepts in the finance lab through the Bloomberg and Reuters terminals.
TAPMI learning and Engagement Platform (lEAP) and learning Tab will augment the learning of the participants.”
Eligibility: Applicants need to have a minimum industry experience of four years at reputed companies after completion of their graduation.
Fee: Rs 4 lakhs.
Important dates: The program is scheduled to commence on November 11, 2018. There are three enrollment dates — September 1, 24 and October 15, 2018.
IElTS
The British Council, New Delhi, opens the registration for the new batch of preparatory courses for International English language Testing System (IElTS) in Delhi starting August 25, 2018. The preparation courses offered are IElTS Regular Course (two months), IElTS Intensive Course (two to three weeks) and IElTS courses for 15-17 year old school students with a long-term ambition of studying abroad.
The IElTS measures English language proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking tests rather than theoretical knowledge. The British Council has been helping aspirants improve their English proficiency to realise their ambitions of studying, working and/ or settling abroad. Students who enroll will be taught by Certificate in English language Teaching to Adults (CElTA) Certified teachers and will be given an interactive 360 degree learning experience.

Course Fee: For IElTS Regular Course, the fee is Rs 15,100. For IElTS Intensive Course, it is Rs 11,000 and for IElTS courses for 15-17 year olds, it is Rs 15,100.
