Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Pharmacy, Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu, in association with MGR Medical University, organised a one-day international seminar on ‘3D Approaches in Combinational Chemistry: Challenges and Perspectives’. Vice President Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE) Dr S Shasi Anand presided over the function. While principal of Arulmigu Kalasalingam College of Pharmacy Dr NVenkateshan gave the welcome address, MGR Medical University vice chancellor Dr S Geetha lakshmi inaugurated the seminar with her talk and said that pharmacy can’t grow without medicals and pharmacist. There should be a discussion about the experiences of patients, doctors and nurses and on the basis of that implement new ideas and methods in pharmacy.
Chief Guest also said the current pharmacy sector to be developed with advance technology which enables most beneficial to poor and middle classes in rural villages. Joint director, GH, VNR, Dr R Manoharahn and vice chancellor, KARE Dr S Saravana Sankar gave felicitation address. Himalaya Pharmaceuticals, Scientist Dr M Vijaya Kumar from Bangalore, Hetro Pharmaceuticals plant advisor N Janarthan from Hydrabad and Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at AIMST University Dr P Perumal from Malaysia gave technical lectures on Chemistry in Pharmasuitcs.
