AIHMCT- WAT
Army Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (AIHMCT), Bangalore, invites applications for admission in Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management (BHM). The admission to this four-year full time programme will be on merit ranking based on the aggregate marks obtained in the Written Admission Test (WAT).
Exam pattern
The exam will have four sections — reasoning and logical deduction, numerical ability and scientific aptitude, command and test of English language and general knowledge. WAT will take place be at Pathankot, Jalandhar Cantt, Ambala, Delhi, Kota, Jodhpur, Dehradun, lucknow, Bhopal, Pune, Secunderbad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Guwahati and Danapur.
Eligibility Criteria
Admission to this Institute is for children of eligible serving Army personnel, eligible ex Army personnel and war widows of the Army only. The candidate should have passed 10+ 2 examination or its equivalent in any academic stream with English as a compulsory subject. Candidates, who are appearing for Class XII, can also apply provisionally. National Open Schooling Students should produce Class XI standard certificate from school. The candidate should not be more than 22 years of age as on July 1, 2017.
Important dates
The last date for receipt of completed application form without late fee is April 12 and with late fee of Rs 200 is April 19. The date of Written Admission Test (WAT) is May 14 (Sunday, 9:30 am to12:30 pm and the result for admission will be displayed on the website on May 25 and the course will begin from June 21, 2017.
