The Victoria University of Wellington is offering 35 doctoral scholarships for New Zealand and international students. These scholarships are available for pursuing doctoral or PhD degree programme.
Eligibility: The scholarships are open to graduates of any university within or outside of New Zealand who intend to enrol full time for a doctorate (PhD) at Victoria University or who have commenced their doctoral study at Victoria University. How to apply: Doctoral Scholarships should be made online. All applicants will need to provide: A 2,000-word sample of their academic writing in English, copies of their academic transcript/s and degree certificates, copy of their diploma supplement (applicants from EU countries only). International students must provide: Evidence of English language proficiency, translations of official documents.

Applications are invited for Rotary Yoneyama Scholarships available for international students to undertake studies at Japanese university or graduate school in Japan. International applicants can apply.
Eligibility: Overseas students meeting all of the following requirements are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Not be a citizen of Japan nor be residing in Japan. letter of Success or Permission for Pre-arrival Admission in Japanese University or graduate school Have either obtained or be in the process of applying for pre-arrival admission approval or letter of success. If the applicants come to Japan to have the entrance exam, they must return to their residing country to apply for the scholarship. Those who enroll in UG must submit a copy of admission, and those who enroll in graduate schools must submit a letter of recommendation from his supervisor in Japanese graduate schools of their choice.
