The University of British Columbia is inviting applications for doctoral scholarship for Canadian and international applicants. The stipend for the 2016-2017 awards is $30,000 per annum for two years and a $2,000 allowance for research-related travel during the 24 months of the scholarship.
Eligibility:Applicants must have completed no more than 24 months of doctoral study as of the start date of the scholarship. Therefore, applicants to the fall 2016 competition must have completed no more than 24 months of doctoral study as of September 1, 2017. Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there. Applicants must have previous degree.
How to apply:Applicants submit their application materials to the College of Graduate Studies. Students, who submit an NSERC doctoral or an SSHRC doctoral award application to the College of Graduate Studies and are successfully forwarded to the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies (G+PS), are automatically considered for Killam Doctoral Scholarship funding. These students do not need to submit a separate Affiliated Fellowship application. Applicants may submit complete application forms directly to graduate awards.ok-at-ubc.ca or submit a hard (paper) copy to the College of Graduate Studies.

Up to 60 summer research scholarships are available at the University of Adelaide each year.
Eligibility: These scholarships are available to undergraduate students, particularly those in the later years of their Bachelor’s degree who wish to undertake a six-week project at the University of Adelaide over the 2016-2017 summer vacation. Should have completed some study towards a degree, which is at a standard acceptable for admission to an Honours programme. Australian citizens, permanent residents, or citizens of other countries and international students who hold current visas permitting study in Australia are eligible to apply.
How to apply: Applicants must consult the staff of the relevant discipline in which they intend to undertake a project. Completed application forms should be sent by post.
