Aptech Banking and Finance Academy and Geojit BNP Paribas have signed an MoU and launched two courses — Aptech Certified Finance Professional (ACFP) and Aptech Certified Equity Dealer (ACED) to train over 10,000 banking and finance professionals.
ACFP is a 10-month course designed to train students in the latest computer application skills and acquire specialisation in securities and wealth management. Students will learn about mutual funds, equity dealing and risk management and the latest skills to succeed in the investment and finance industry.
ACED is an eight-month course designed to provide the most relevant and updated knowledge on equity, commodities and currency markets in India. Students will learn all about trading systems, interpreting reports, derivatives and clearing among other things.
In both the courses students would undergo mandatory soft skills training and a 30-hour industry project that would help them gain industry work experience. This will also prepare students for examinations conducted by the National Institute of Securities Market which is a public trust of the Securities and Exchange Board of India , the regulator of the securities markets in India.
The course will be provided in four selected centers of Aptech Banking and Finance Academy —Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore.
