The University of Alberta is offering doctoral scholarship at the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research.
This scholarship is open to both Canadian and international students for winter 2017 intake.
Eligibility: The scholarship will be awarded to students who: Are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or international students; Are admitted to a doctoral graduate degree programme by the department; Will be registered full-time in a doctoral degree programme; Have an admission GPA of at least 3.7
How to apply: Nomination consists of a completed Nomination Form which must be sent via e-mail. Supporting documents may include the following: Academic documents (transcripts, degree certificates); English language Proficiency scores such as IElTS, Pearson, TOEFl, etc (if applicable).
Additional departmental requirements like CV, statement of intent and writing samples, GRE, GMAT, or other test scores. Reference letters (Supply names and email addresses of their references in the online application.)
Application deadline: For students with a January 1, 2017, start date, the deadline is November 1, 2016.
The University of Cambridge Trust is offering the Cambridge International Scholarships to pursue PhD studies for 2017-2018 academic year. International students are eligible for these scholarships.
Eligibility: All students, irrespective of nationality, are eligible to be considered for funding by the Trust. The Trust does not accept applications from students who are part-way through a course at Cambridge, unless they are applying for funding towards a higher degree course following graduation. Applicants should be starting a course at the undergraduate (excluding UK/EU applicants), Masters (such as MPhil, MASt, llM), or research postgraduate (such as PhD) levels.
How to apply: All applicants should submit the Graduate Application Form, ticking the box to apply to the Cambridge Trust and completing Sections B3 (Cambridge Trust Personal Statement) and B4 (Financial Details for the Cambridge Trust). All students must be admitted to the University of Cambridge through the normal application procedures.
Application deadline: The applications should be submitted by December 2, 2016.
