Alike last year’s pattern, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University is going to start online counselling process leading to admission for 11 major programmes of the university from June 1, 2016. These programmes are MBA, MCA, BAllB/ BBAllB, BEd, BBA, BAJMC, lateral entry to BTech (for diploma holders), lateral entry to BTech (BSc graduates), BTech/ BTech-MTech dual degree and BCom(Honours).
All CET qualified candidates of above mentioned programmes, who desire to participate in the online counselling leading to admission to these programmes, must register online with the payment of fees of Rs1,000 which can be deposited through Indian bank challan up to June 8 and through net banking up to June 10, 2016. Verification of documents for reserved category candidates like SC, ST, JK migrants, sikh minority, muslim minority, jain minority, defence priority six to seven will be done at designated centres of the university from June 3 to June 11, 2016.
The schedule of choice filling and subsequent further process of this online counselling will be displayed on the University website www.ipu.ac.in on June 10, 2016.
In the larger interest of the CET qualified candidates, who are still approaching the University for corrections in date of birth, spelling mistakes in name, parent’s name, category name etc, can approach the University for the purpose till June 3, 2016. They have to submit the application for the correction with valid documentary proof along with a fee of Rs500 to the academic branch, IP University. This is final opportunity for such type of corrections.
