Executive programme
Missouri State University (MSU), US, invites applications for its Master’s degree programme in Administrative Studies with a concentration in Cyber Security, under the Department of Computer Information Systems.
The programme provides hands-on labs and exercises to teach aspiring cyber security professionals how to secure and defend information systems from malicious attackers and serve in senior management roles sometimes referred to as chief information security officer or chief security officer.
The degree requires minimum 30 hours for the subjects like fundamentals of cyber security, hacker techniques and incident response, cloud computing, IT legal issues in cyber security, telecommunications and network security, web application security, seminar course in cyber security, computer forensics, organisational behaviour, project leadership and many more.
Students who have successfully completed bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum GPA of 2.75 and a GRE score of 290 or above, along with IElTS of 6.0 bands or a TOEFl iBT of 79 is eligible.
The duration of the programme is 18 to 24 months and the fee is $18,500. The session will commence from August 15, 2016.

RURAl MANAGEMENT
The International Institute of Health Management Research Universitys’ School of Rural Management invites applications for MBA Rural Management programme.
The number of seats available is 30 and the course duration is two years. The course is considered to be a flagship educational programme in developing trained professional managers with requisite skills for managing rural development organisations in public and private sectors. The focus of the programme is on self-learning through participatory approach.
Those who are interested to apply should have completed bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration with minimum 50 per cent marks. Valid CAT/MAT/CMAT/ATMA/ XAT/or any other national level management aptitude test scores are also considered. Candidates with relevant two years work experience are encouraged to apply.
