Executive programme
IMI New Delhi has announced admissions to its Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management (EXPGDM) 2016-17. The last date for submission of forms is January 30, 2016. Classes will commence from second week of May. The course is tailored to cater to the needs of experienced mid-level managers wishing to take up leadership roles or picked by their organisation for such positions.
EXPGDM is a 15-month long full-time course that equips the students with general management and functional area orientation. There is special emphasis on international and cross-cultural exposure. A five-week international study module is also part of the syllabi. The programme is approved by AICTE and accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA).
Talking about the programme, Dr. Bakul Dholakia, director general, IMI New Delhi said: “With this course, we aim to build on the participant’s knowledge of management strategies and their analytical skills and create a learning platform that coaches them to handle cross-cultural issues of a dynamic business environment. The mission is to inculcate values and attitudes that make a business professional sensitive and ethical.”
To welcome new students, Prof. Manaswini Acharya, professor of marketing and dean (placements and corporate relations) said: “We intend to offer candidates who have scored well in the CAT an opportunity to apply for admission. With the changed format this year it would be good to give an opportunity as it may enhance prospects of building diversity for students from Arts, media, etc. Further, in various social media platforms many students have requested for the same.”
