Deakin University, ranked No 3 worldwide for its sport management programmes, has announced a new MBA programme that is designed to produce the business leaders of the future. The Master of leadership along with an MBA will be offered to graduates as a combined degree. This new programme brings together the sound foundational skills of an MBA with the cutting-edge soft skills offered by the Master of leadership.
The MBA/Master of leadership is designed to take two-years of full-time study to complete. Not only will students become proficient in analysing business problems and formulating solutions, they will also learn how to capture people’s imaginations in order to support new and emerging initiatives.
There has been a year on year increase in the number of Indian students studying at Deakin University and the combined programme will be of particular interest to MBA aspirants who will acquire additional acumen in leadership without shifting college or programme. The continuity provided by the combined Masters will also reduce cost of study for such students. The new MBA/Master of leadership will be available from Trimester 2, 2015.
