The ICSI has launched a ‘15 days Academic Programme’ which shall be applicable for all Company Secretaryship (CS) students who have passed their Executive Programme (i.e. passed both/all modules of CS Executive Programme) on or after August 25, 2015. The programmes are—
Professional induction programme is for two days that will be completed within three months of passing the Executive programme or within two months of commencement of their 15 months or 1 or 2 years training, whichever is earlier.
Professional e-Governance programme is for three days that needs commenced only after PIP is completed
Professional skill development programme is for 5 days which needs to be completed only after completing PIP and PGEP but in any case within seven months from the passing of Executive Programme
Professional entrepreneurship development programme is for 5 days that needs to be completed only after completing PIP, PGEP and PSDP but in any case should be completed at least three months prior to the completion date of their 15 months / 1 year/ 2 year training
The academic programme will be providing a comprehensive exposure to various aspects of becoming a well-trained CS Professional and will help the CS Executive programme students in grooming themselves for playing an effective role as a CS in the corporate world.
