COMEDK PGET
The post graduate entrance test conducted by Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) will be held in February next year. The entrance exam — COMEDK PGET-2015 will be held in Bangalore. The test provides admission to students in post graduate courses of medical/dental in its 12 medical and 19 dental institutions across the country.
Exam pattern
The test will have two papers for both medical and dental programmes. It will be a multiple-choice exam where the students will be given 180 minutes. The paper doesn’t have negative marking and each right answer is credited with one mark each.
Eligibility
The applicant should have successfully passed their MBBS or BDS from an institution recognised by MCI or DCI. In case the student is doing his internship, it should be completed or is due to be completed by April 30, 2015. A permanent registration should have been obtained with the MCI or DCI or any of the State medical/dental council.
How to apply
Interested candidates can apply online on the official website by filling applications in the prescribed format along with the application fee of Rs2,250 drawn in favour of COMEDK from the nationalised banks.
Important dates
Online applications available from November 22, 2014 and the last date to apply is January 3, 2015. The exam is scheduled to be held on February 2, 2015.
