Fashion incubator programme
Myntra.com under the initiative of Myntra Fashion Incubator (MFI) invites application for one-year ‘Designer in Residence’ programme. The last date for submission of application is October 31, 2014.
Through this programme, the students will be mentored and trained by experts to incubate their business and also receive financial support to create designs for one season. A panel of well-respected judges and experts from the industry will put the shortlisted participants through rigorous assessment and the final set of participants will get an opportunity to work on their idea under the guidance of Myntra Fashion Incubator team.
The first batch of the incubator programme is expected to roll out in January 2015 and as many as 10 entrepreneurs will get on board early next year.
Fashion Styling & Image Design
The Pearl Academy invites application for their recently launched undergraduate course on Fashion Styling and Image Design.
This four years BA Hons degree programme has eight semesters and includes modules like fundamentals of fashion styling, cultural studies, communication skills and computer skills. Initially, the course focuses on concepts, skills and training to create a sense of style through an image. Gradually, it accentuates the co-relation between thoughts and arrangement of styling solutions in diverse areas of fashion, retail, media and entertainment.
