AU CRET 2014
The University of Allahabad is conducting Combined Research Entrance Test 2014 (CRET-2014) at Allahabad for admission to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (D.Phil.) for the session 2014 to 2015.
Exam Pattern
There are three levels of exam—
level 1: It includes objective type questions and it’s divided into two sections — section A (general awareness, academic and research aptitude) and section B (subject proficiency). This year, CRET will have 47 subjects instead of 40.
Both the sections comprises 50 multiple choice questions that needs to be answered within 1:30minutes and carries four marks each.
level 2: It includes written subjective type test which is of two hours duration and comprises 200 marks.
level 3: It is an interview round where candidates appear before the DPC of the subject for interview.
Important Dates
The exam for level 1 and level 2 is scheduled to be held on August 10, 2014. Candidates can download their admit card from online only.
