Birla Institute of Technology Mesra invites applications from interested candidates for admission to full-time/ part-time Ph D programme in Architecture, Bio-Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Technology, Chemistry, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Management, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Production Engineering, and Remote Sensing.
Exam Pattern
The PhD entrance test would consist of two parts—
General aptitude test common to all applicants, from 9am to 9:45am
Subject specific tests to examine basic fundamental knowledge in the subject from 10 am onwards.
Candidates who have qualified in CSIR-NET/BRNS/NBHM/other selections would avail the fellowships directly from the respective organisations.
Important dates
last date for the submission of application form is June 30 and the list of eligible candidates for written test will be displayed on the institute’s website on July 11, 2014. The date for written test and interview is on July 21, 2014 of which the results will be declared by July 22, 2014.
