A two-day seminar on Application of Computer Software in Mathematical Modeling was organised recently by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s University School of Basic and Applied Sciences (USBAS).
In collaboration with Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, the seminar was graced by Dr PK Dave, a Padamshree awardee and former director of AIIMS, Hl Attri, former director of Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India and BK Sinha, honorary member of Central Administrative Tribunal. Prof Anil K Tyagi, vice chancellor of IP University presided over the function. The seminar which was patronaged by Prof AK Narula, dean of USBAS, was focused on live demonstration with hands on experience for the application of mathematical modeling in real life problems.
