Scholarships on offer

The College of law at the University of Cincinnati, US, recently announced reduction in tuition fees to approximately $29,000 for its Master of law programme (llM) for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Moreover, Indian students are eligible for scholarships valued at up $12,000 USD that will be awarded based on prior academic and professional record. These new benefits make the programme attractive to Indian students who are looking to complement their Indian law degrees with relevant awareness about the US legal system and pursue a career with leading global legal companies.

In order to be admitted to the llM programme applicants will need to have a first degree in law from an accredited university and it is recommended that applications be received by April 30, 2014 to be considered for international scholarships. For more information, interested candidates may directly write to nora.wagner@uc.edu or reach out to the UC country coordinator in India at anjali.khavnekar@uc.edu.

The two-semester llM programme is designed for law school graduates and attorneys, specifically those individuals who have received their legal education outside of the US. The programme provides a substantive introduction to the US legal process while allowing students to focus their studies on a specific area of interest such as corporate law, international law, criminal law and more.
