Seek shelter in God for good relations

Seek shelter in God for good relations

If we have a good relationship with God, he will reward us handsomely

We all do. Because good relationships with other people benefit us in many ways. Don’t we all need a strong support base to exist well? It has been estimated that we need the help of roughly twenty-five persons every day to exist well. Then, we must have good relationships with our family members, especially those with whom we live. They must be accepted as they are just as we should be with our many faults. We all have several faults without any exceptions; only others may have different faults. Unfortunately, we try to ignore our own faults or consider them normal, which is not right.

All faults are faults, and they must be worked on and can be rectified only if we personally work on them, especially with help from God. Because we have been programmed thus due to our impious acts done in our past lives. For example, a person gets readily angry from his childhood. This habit is likely to continue for the rest of his life unless he has a desire to change and for that, he seeks help from God. Because such changes in one’s nature are very difficult to achieve; God’s help is crucial for effecting this change.

Additionally, we must think for others, i.e. how can we help them, because, yes, we all need help. Who can help us? The answer is those with whom we associate with either at home or in workplaces. And in order to get help we must respect them, and appreciate them generously, just as we crave to be given attention. How do you create a support base of experts, who are reliable also, for example, good doctors, lawyers, accountants, etc.? The answer is the same again: be very respectful and appreciative. Good health is hugely dependent upon getting the right advice at the right time. The same is true about lawyers. Do you know that dishonest lawyers are only interested in getting dates? They obtain them by getting together with lawyers of the opposing side, and cases drag on. Good relationships benefit us in many more ways. Aren’t we social animals, created to co-exist? That is how the family concept came into being. Why? As mentioned earlier, we must take the help of many. Aren’t we incomplete in ourselves? Doesn’t the husband provide what the wife lacks and what she can provide what he lacks? Then, we are always looking for attention, appreciation, etc, because we are not really self-sufficient.

This is how the creation was meant to go on. We must support others and others must do likewise. We can give respect to others and they can respect us, and the world can go on. Can we be experts in everything? The truth is: we can be experts in a few things only, if at all. Others provide expertise in order to fulfil all our needs. For example, a doctor provides medical expertise to us and an accountant fulfils his accountancy needs. And we suffer less stress because there are others who complement and supplement what we lack. You please God and get whatever you desire. Isn’t God inside us and outside too? He is and should be very much a part of our lives if we wish to exist well. This is how the Cosmic Design works. We must develop an excellent relationship with God. Isn’t He the controller? Isn’t He the one to decide the results of our acts? Isn’t He, being omniscient, the one who can provide the perfect answer to problems faced by us?

Yes, God and He alone can see the big picture; we can see only a part of it if we try hard. There is another important fact we should know. God even knows what we are thinking. That is how we are punished for evil thoughts. We should know that all acts done by body, mind and words are taken into consideration for deciding our fate.
