It is after the gap of seven years that Navni Parihar will be seen in any television show. The actress who has been appearing in films like Corporateand Tumse Achcha Kaun Haistarted her career with TV but distanced herself from the medium realising “that the content was going down by the day. The roles that came were of scheming saas, who were to appear on screen with loads of make-up, that was not something that I would have done.”
She agreed to play the part of Rano, since it is based on some some true stories and it spreads awareness among the masses. “When I heard the script I was in tears and I thought to myself that I should play Rano. It was one role in long time that moved me,” she said.
