With his collection Threads Of Emotion, the master craftsman left us spellbound. Ensembles that spoke volumes about the Indian heritage and embroidery like the phulkari and bagh were the highlight of the collection by Manish Malhotra.
The designer emphasised on ethnic Indian crafts. His designs had a strong influence of the Punjabi culture and tradition. There were cropped anarkalis, maxi-anarkalis, angrakhas and saris with his trademark sheer blouses. For men there were bandhgalas, structured jackets and draped dhoti pants.
The autumn colour palette for his collection had rich colours like mustard yellow, navy blue, deep rust, earthy olive and intense red.
like it’s a custom in his shows, tinsel town stars were also present. Esha Gupta, Jacqueline Fernandes and Siddhartha Malhotra walked the ramp for Manish.
