While Mall of India celebrated it by bringing in the multiple deals for shoppers, the place also installed a life-size blue elephant with an anklet around its foot in their main atrium. DLF Place, Saket hosted a Diwali Bazaar offering gifts, jewellry, lights, fun games and home decor items. It also decorated its interiors with jali-cut hangings which are placed in the atriums and the plaza area. They have also installed a Ganesha made with layers of ghunghroos.
The next in line is Promenade, Vasant Kunj that is celebrating a green and eco-friendly Diwali. It has brought to life the sacred emblem of Ramayana with Lord Vishnu and his various avatars (disguises) by installing a life-size shankha (conch) in their main atrium. It has also been gifting saplings to its mall patrons to promote a green and clean Diwali. These places of commerce are trying their best to make it a wholesome time.
