As the chirpy sparrows sit on the balconies searching for food, Delhi gets into the mood for spring. The clear skies are a reason for celebration which finds its way through the blooming flowers across the city.

To nourish and upkeep these beauties of nature, Delhi Tourism’s Annual Garden Tourism Festival is back and will be celebrated at the Garden of Five Senses at Said-Ul-Ajaib Village, MB Road (near Saket Metro station) from February14-16. The three-day event, organised by Delhi Tourism in association with Government of Delhi, is themed on Vertical Gardens this year. Besides, the venue spread over 20 acres will provide a space for public leisure and the sprawling gardens filled with innumerable flowers. The festival will be inaugurated by Somnath Bharti, Minister of Tourism, law, Art and Culture and Administrative Reforms. The main objective of this year’s theme is to encourage the use of vertical space for gardens indoors and outdoors. The theme will encourage garden enthusiasts to create vertical gardens which can be started within horizontal area which reduces the challenge of space.  It will also enlighten garden enthusiasts about planting on roofs, walls and creating structures within small spaces as green covers.
