A training programme for IAS officers of AGMUT cadre of 2014 batch was organised by Delhi Transco limited to apprise them with the functioning of power sector. These officers were imparted information about the power scenario of the country as well as of Delhi. Besides, the functioning of various segments of Power Sector was explained to these officers. The officers also visited Pragati Power Station to have a first hand information on how electricity is generated and transmitted. The programme was chaired by Sukesh Kumar Jain, secretary (power), Government of NCT of Delhi. Sanjeev Singh, MD, Delhi Transco and IPGCl, JPS Chawla, director (HR and finance), Prem Prakash, director (operations) and Ajay Kumar Bisht, additional secretary (power), GNCTD were also present in the programme.
