Unlike other horror shows, &tv's Darr Sabko lagta Hai claims to show unseen and untold real stories with a twist. Vidya Malvade, the actor of the first episode, tells Arjita Mishra about her experiences
Recounting an experience of any paranormal activity can give anyone chills. Whether it is about supernaturals, spirits or anything terrifying — it is actually enough to cause shiver down the spine. Whether it be a television series or a horror movie, most of us have experienced the fear. But there is something about them that makes us watch them even after the fear they create in our minds. As the world celebrates Halloween today, makers of &Tv are all set to launch their first horror show Darr Sabko lagta Hai, which would be hosted by actress Bipasha Basu. The series will have total of 26 episodes to be telecasted every weekend. Basu is going to make her small screen debut with the show and will be seen as a narrator of the show.
The first episode of the show will have Chak De India girl Vidya Malvade portraying Naina, who is a psychic and she communicates with the dead people. As she was earlier seen in a horror film 1920 Evil returns so, this is not the first time when she is part of a project that has supernatural element in it. “I have done Vikram Bhatt’s 1920 The Evil Returns few years back, that is why I had a great experience while doing this show,” she said.
Sharing more about the show, she said, “The show is not like the usual, saas-bahu soap operas. Rather, this is more like a short film which will have a beginning, middle and an end. The actress was last seen on the small screen as a participant of Khatron Ke Khiladi shared, “It’s not a comeback because I was never did TV, I just did one reality show which was a 15 days shoot.”
So, how was the experience while working with Bipasha Basu and she told us, “I have not worked with Bipasha as she is not a part of our film, she is just a narrator of the story.”
For now, the actress is excited for her movie that released yesterday.
