It was a very good day for ‘Jharkhand Expo 2016’, an “Exporter summit” was organised by the Jharkhnad government in which around 150 exporters of handloom and handicraft participated and the summit was addressed by D.I of Jharkhand —K Ravi Kumar and many exporters. It was a very well organised event in which exporters showed deep interest in the Jharcraft and handlooms of Jharkhand. On the occasion of summit Kumar said, “the main motto of this summit is to promote the work and talent of the local artisans of unorganised groups of Jharkhand. Despite having tremendous talent the artists are not getting a suitable platform to showcase their talent to the world. So our government took the initiative to give them a platform to show their art to the country and also to the world”. Kumar added that the summit was a very successful event and we are looking forward to organise such type of events in upcoming years.
Exporters praised the work and talent of the artists of Jharkhand and also showed interest in exporting the goods.
