Dr Arup Roy Choudhury, CMD NTPC received the best CEO Award — Public Sector from Forbes at Forbes India leadership Award (FIlA) function held in Mumbai. The jury for the award comprised eminent business leaders. FIlA recognises leaders in public and private sector and among multinational companies operating in India.
The 13th ROPR was organised at NTPC Faridabad in which all the business heads and senior officials of NCR gas stations participated to discuss various important issues such as MOU, plant efficiency, commercial parameter, environmental concerns and safety. NN Misra, director (Operations) and AK Ahuja RED (NC) reviewed all important issues with the business heads of the units.
FlO organised an interactive session with motivational guru Deepak Chopra on ‘The Future of Well -Being’, with the objective of providing an opportunity to learn the ways to achieve holistic well-being in a more structured way. Neeta Boochra, national president, FICCI ladies Organisation said, “True to the objectives of FlO to ‘Educate and Empower,’ this session is organised primarily with the aim of educating our members with the roadmap created by Chopra, for ‘higher health,’ based on the latest findings in both mainstream and alternative medicine.”
Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju visited CISF headquarters. Arvind Ranjan, DG/CISF and other senior officers welcomed the minister and a guard of honour was presented to him. A photo gallery was viewed by the minister wherein photographs depicting various operational and welfare activities undertaken by the CISF, were displayed.
During his address to the senior officers of CISF, the minister appreciated the diversified role of CISF in national security.
To address the grievances of retired railway officials, Northern Railway holds the Pension Adalat or Pensioners Grievances Tribunal each year. In the current year, the Pension Adalat will be held on December 15 at 11 am. The Pension Adalat shall be held at the zonal headquarters office at Baroda House and at all its divisional headquarters.
