Actor Manish Paul will be seen in the lead role of the movie Tere Bin laden: Dead or Alive. He tells A Mishra that this edition is going to be as humorous as its prequel
He is an amazing host and we want him to host each and every reality show because he is one of the best hosts India has. Right from his first reality show in 2002 to his latest show which aired last year. In fact, in one reality show he replaced a host on public demand. Here, we are talking about Manish Paul.
Paul is not only a good host but he is also a very talented actor. We have seen him doing daily soaps like Chhona hai and Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi. After serving more than a decade on television, Paul made his Bollywood debut with Mickey Virus in 2013 after doing special appearance in Tees Maar Khan and ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.
With his forthcoming film, Tere Bin laden: Dead or Alive, Paul is all set to make everyone laugh. “It is a light-hearted film and I am guaranteeing that everyone will die laughing,” said the actor.
In the is set against the mysterious death of terrorist, Osama Bin laden. According to Paul, “Everyone thinks that laden is dead and we also think the same. But their are few people who wonder whether laden is dead or alive. And we have taken that part in our film.”
In the film he is playing a lead role of a budding director who wants to make his debut and gets hired by a US agent to make a film on Osama using his doppelganger to shoot a fake tape to prove his death. This film is a sequel of Tere Bin laden, starring Ali Zafar in the lead. On asking Paul that how this film is different from its prequel, he said, “I think there is not much difference in both of the films because they both are comedy films but the plot of the two films is entirely different. In first film, Ali was playing the lead and in this film I am playing the lead.”
Being a protagonist of the film, the actor thinks that there is some kind of pressure on him but he is sure that the film will receive a good response from the audience.
“We believe in comedy. There are a lot of problems which people face each and every day of there lives. So, we try to find humour in everything. I think when people will watch the film and they will enjoy it,” Paul pointed out. He also clarified that they have not made fun of anyone in the film.
The actor said that he enjoys his work and it does not matter whether it is hosting or acting. He said, “I just want people to be entertained with my work and I try to do that.”
Speaking about his upcoming project, Paul said, “There is a film called Katha which is directed by Khalid Mohamed and hopefully it will get released this year.”
