‘Need to respect producers more’
Actor-producer Sunil Shetty feels that being a producer is the most challenging job in the filmmaking process and one should respect them more. Sunil had come out to support Vinod Kapri's quirky satire Miss Tanakpur Haazir Ho during the screening. “Having a relationship with co-stars or directors is fine but the most important relationship in films is with the producers. They are the one who invests huge amount of money and sometimes even sell their house for making films. So I believe that this industry doesn’t respect the producers,” he said.
Bollywood filmmaker Pooja Bhatt, music sensation Udit Narayan, ad-director and cinematographer Mahesh Aney, Malayalam cinema icon Hariharan along with renowned film editor A Sreekar Prasad are going to judge the sixth edition of the Jagran Film Festival.
The festival, known for its unique and interesting bouquet of films, announced the jury members for the Indian showcase category. After watching the films, the jury will be selecting the winners in the category which has a vast line-up of awards for the best screenplay, best cinematographer, best debut director, best music director, best director, best feature film, best actor, best singer, et al.The 2015 edition of the Jagran Film Festival will traverse from Delhi on July 1 to the hinterlands of Kanpur, lucknow, Allahabad, Varanasi, Agra, Meerut, Dehradun, Hisar, ludhiana, Patna, et al.
‘Will and I love each other a lot’
Jada Pinkett Smith says she views claims of her marriage is in trouble as “good news”. The Magic Mike XXl star said it is frustrating reading constant claims she and Will Smith are getting divorced.
“You’d think people would be rooting for you to stay together not to break up, you knowIJ It’s actually good news and bad news. The good news is there’s nothing else to talk about. This has been the only story, ‘let’s round up the divorce story again’. Will and I love each other so much, and our family and our relationship is so important,” she said.
