‘I prefer leading a family life’
Salma Hayek said that she had rejected ‘many' roles to be with her family and enjoy a more home-oriented life. “I've said no to many things and I don't regret it,” the actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her starring role in Frida (2003) and who returns to the big screen in Grown Ups 2, said. Hayek, who is also a film producer, said that she had felt forced to work on big productions during the summer, when her five-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma, is not going to school. “If you notice, I only work in the summers,” she said. The Mexican star said she felt greatly supported in her career by her husband, Businessman Francois-Henri Pinault, and her daughter.
