The biggest Spiderman party of the year

Along with the release of Spider-man Homecoming, Comic Con India and Hauz Khas Social organised a delightful Spiderman-themed party filled with perks and goodies to win

As Spider-man Homecoming released on July 7, Hauz Khas Social and Comic Con India collaborated to host ‘The Biggest Spiderman Party of the Year’ on the same day. At the event, 500 visitors caught the official Marvel Spiderman suit cosplayed. The event was organised at Social, Hauz Khas Village, at 8 pm. The event was free to enter although the admission rights were reserved and club rules applied. The evening saw numerous cosplayers along with fans who made the effort to be dressed in spidey costumes, masks and T-shirts. Their love for the Marvel superhero was obvious.

Highlights of the event

• Getting clicked with the official Marvel Spiderman Suit, cosplayed by a Marvel trained cosplayer at the party

• Cosplayers won official Marvel goodies
• Supporting the Spidey fandom: Show your love to the Spidey fandom in your own creative manner. Participants could wear a T-shirt and carry Spiderman action figures. They could get the chance to take home some exciting assured Marvel gifts or movie tickets
• Fun Spiderman photo-ops to enact the Spiderman life
• Spiderman face painting
• Grooving to the tunes of Spiderman soundtracks

The bar area was decorated to highlight the iconic Spiderman style. There were also special drinks which were named after Spider-man characters. The music, too, was played from previous Spider-man movies, and the games and activities were inspired from the franchise as well. The event indeed was a delightful experience for enthusiastic fans.

Jatin Varma, founder of Comic Con India, shared, “The Spider-Man Fan Night was a great success; it was so much fun to host Spidey fans and geek out with them!
