Kristen Connolly, the journalist in Zoo on AXN, answers queries by SANGEETA YADAV
What made you say yes to the role of Jamie CampbellIJ What is the best part of itIJ
I thought the script was really fun and wild, and I liked Jamie's tenacity, her curiosity and that she is a complicated person with flaws. The best part of working onZoo is the people I get to go to work with. I've never laughed so hard in my life, and it's truly collaborative between the actors, writers, directors and crew. I feel lucky to be a part of that team.
Did you take any inspiration for your characterIJ
Jamie can be a little blunt, and a little stubborn, but she is also direct and focused. Those are traits that I admire.

The show has been very significant in my life. We all moved to New Orleans for six months to film it, and that is an immersive experience. It was challenging, and fun, and a time of personal growth and change for me.

She is a bit more reckless than I am in real life.
What is the biggest challenge in playing this characterIJ
This show is very physical and demanding. But those are things I enjoy. It was really hot though towards the end. I've never drank so much water in my life.
