The weather suddenly changed on Sunday evening in the State. In the evening, it rained in many surrounding areas including the State Capital. Everyone was shocked by the sudden change in weather and rain. The sudden downpour will bring down the mercury increasing cold wave further.
The weather of Ranchi was normal throughout the day on Sunday, but at 4.15 pm, suddenly there were clouds in the sky. Suddenly, the clouds completely covered the sky. It started raining heavily. Shopping in the market place and people passing by the road started taking shelter here and there. Many people even got wet.
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be hailstorms along with thunderstorms for the next two days in various parts of the State. Due to which there will be damage to trees, plants and crops. During this, meteorologists are advising people to be alert and stay in their shelters as long as possible. There is also a possibility of rain for five days in various places of the State.
Due to the sudden rain, the shopkeepers on the sidewalk also got upset and started trying to cover the stuff in the State Capital so that it could be saved. Earlier, the situation was that the weather remained normal and sunny in Ranchi city throughout the day on Sunday. By the way, being a Sunday, there was less crowd on the roads.
The Ranchi Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain with light to moderate thunderstorms at some places in the north-central part of Jharkhand on Monday as well. There is also a possibility of hailstorms with thunderstorms. The temperature is also expected to rise by up to two degree Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Center Ranchi, till January 13, 2022, it will be cloudy at some places in the State. During this, there may be light rain along with thunderstorms at some places of the State. The Meteorological Department also expected that during the last 24 hours, the highest temperature in Jharkhand was 28.4 degrees Celsius in Chaibasa, while the lowest temperature was 11.5 degrees Celsius in Hazaribagh.
