A two-day training program on "Safety and Accident Prevention" was started for the officers of various departments of the plant at the Human Resource Development Center of Bokaro Steel Plant. The program was inaugurated by Chief General Manager (Security & Fire Services) Amarendra Jha. General Manager (HR) DR Toppo, General Manager (Security) Vikas Gupta and officers of various departments were present in the inaugural session.
Addressing the participants during the program, Jha highlighted the importance of safety in steel plant and the role of front line manager in accident prevention and appealed to all the participants to take advantage of this program. Toppo and Gupta called upon all the participants to share their learning points with other colleagues of the department so that a safe work culture can be developed in the plant. During the two-day long training program, the participants will be exposed to various aspects of safety by various speakers. The program was coordinated by JN Yadav, Deputy Manager (HRD).
