President Ram Nath Kovind will be the chief guest for the convocation ceremony of Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) and will arrive in Ranchi on February 28, sources said.
The President will further travel to Bishnupur and Deoghar on February 29. Kovind had last visited Jharkhand in September 2019. Tight security arrangements with additional SPs, DSPs and security personnel will be deployed at the three venues. According to sources CUJ Vice Chancellor Nand Kumar Yadav Indu has urged Minister of Human Resource Development Ramesh Pokhriyal to be the distinguished guest for the occasion.
