The 2nd National Coaching Camp for the preparation of Indian Teams for Special Olympics World Winter Games to be held in Austria from 14-25 March 2017 concluded at JRD Tata sports complex.
The camp was organised by Special Olympics Bharat - Jharkhand.
Official send off ceremony took place on Thursday at the basketball grounds of JRD Tata Sports Complex.
Sunil Bhaskaran Vice President (Corporate Services) Tata Steel, & President SOB Jharkhand, was the chief guest on occasion.
B D Bodhanwala, Area Director SOB Jharkhand, Mukul V Choudhari Administrator TFA & Sports along with Victor Vaz National Sports Director Special Olympics and most of the senior members of SOB Jharkhand were also present.
Demonstration games for Floor Ball & Floor Hockey were displaced by the selected probables athletes.
Addressing the special athletes, Sunil Bhaskaran convened his best wishes to the Indian contingent.
