Prime Minister Narendra Modi is deceiving the people and making false promises to the people and voters of Jharkhand,Chief Minister Hemant Soren said on Tuesday while addressing a public meeting in Jaynagar in Barkattha Assembly constituency. Soren compared Modi with the East India Company and said, “Modi cheated people of India being a chai wala (tea vendor) and trying to spoil the country.”
“Modi is the political face of the corporates like Ambani and Adani,” he further said, adding that Amit Shah was a so called middleman of the corporate families.
"The states governed by the BJP have failed to deliver and that is why they are the most poor States and according to the Raghurajan Committee report poverty rate of these States is higher than that of other states, “ he said blaming the saffron party for trying to make this state also poor.
Soren also refused to accept the existence of Modi wave only on the basis of recent assembly election results in Haryana and Maharashtra and said the BJP must not put Jharkhand on the same page with those states. “Jharkhand is not Haryana or Maharashtra where business class rules the roost. It is Jharkhand that is dominated by 'bhumiputras' (sons of the soil) and only JMM wave prevails here," he said.
Soren presented the work done by his Government and said, “We have done more than what was done in 14 years. He also told PM’s Jan-Dhan Yojana a failed project. He appealed the people to cast their vote in favour of party’s candidate Digambar Mehta.
Soren also said, "JMM after being voted to power will restrict the appointment of outsiders on third and fourth grade posts which is the sole prerogative of locals. Teachers appointment will also be in operation and Para teachers will get their rights."
The party candidate Digambar Mehta also addressed the meeting. He said, “Jharkhand Mukti Morcha(JMM) Government has done a lot of development work in its short tenure of 14 months only. JMM is party of farmers and labourers and always thinks about them.CM Hemant Soren is a youth, energetic Chief Minister with vision of development.”
