Chhattisgarh Police on Saturday seized 96 kg of cannabis valued at Rs 48 lakh and arrested a 38-year-old man for transporting it to New Delhi from Odisha.
Mahasamund Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kukreja identified him as Hansraj Sharma of New Delhi.
The police intercepted a car at the Temri checkpost in the Komakhan area following a tip. The drugs were stuffed in four gunny bags.
