Babulal Marandi-led Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) in its renewed attempt has approached the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to ally with. Party MP from Jamshedpur Ajay Kumar is likely to hold a meeting with the political newborn party in Delhi on February 10.
Though no such confirmation has come from the AAP, Ajay Kumar is optimistic about a kind of coalition with the party ahead of general elections. “We are in the process of like minded people and bring them on a political front. Besides the AAP, we are also in talks with the TMC and looking for good and clean parties and people,” said Ajay Kumar.
However, top sources in the Arvind Kejriwal-led party in Delhi denied any coalition kind of understanding with the Jharkhand-based party in the offing. “It is not possible. Ajay Kumar has been in touch with us and our stand is very clear. We are looking for clean candidates for the upcoming elections and we think he can be one. But our entering in any kind of coalition with the JVM is very difficult,” said a close aide of the Delhi Chief Minister.
