Congress’ wholehearted support to CM Hemant Soren prompted the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha to assign the tag of “next Madhu Koda” to the new CM Koda, who has been made accused in a number of scams, was also a Congress backed CM.
“Hemant Soren will be next Madhu Koda,” senior JVM leader Pradeep Yadav quipped. The Jharkhand Vikas Morcha accused the Congress party of using money and unfair means to influence members of the house to help the present Congress-JMM led coalition sail through the vote of trust. Yadav accused the Congress of using its position at the Centre and State to enact the present government. “Congress had used the same tactics during Narasimha Rao government which it used for the JMM-Congress coalition with only difference being the amount paid to buy members,” said Yadav.
Yadav dragged the CBI in controversy by accusing them of going deliberately slow against Sita Soren, a close relative of the CM, on the horse trading case besides providing relief to several other people belonging to the coalition. “CBI needs to clarify on what grounds members of RJD and Congress were let off in the horse trading case,” said Yadav. Yadav maintained that the JVM will oppose this government tooth and nail and the party will lodge complains whereever necessary with the CBI and vigilance. “We will lodge complains with the CBI despite the fact that it is a government’s wing,” added Yadav.
