In an attempt to redress problem of displaced people of Heavy Engineering Corporation (HEC), Hatia, Congress leader and former Deputy Mayor, Ajay Nath Shahdeo said that the Government is only saying since long time that it will give compensation to the displaced people but when the time will come no one knows.
Addressing a Press meet on Tuesday Shadeo said, “Under the BJP Government cases of displacement is being increased many fold but the government has not arranged proper settlement for the displaced people. The displaced people of HEC Area are struggling for their demands since long time but the Government is not paying attention on their demands.”
Speaking on the occasion Social Activist, Wasvi Kido said the Government should return land of the affected people and provide them status of revenue village.
Speaking on the occasion HEC Hatiya, Visthapit Pariwar Samiti member, Rahul Oraon said, “All the displaced families will hold protest at Birsa Chowk in Ranchi on Wednesday in which people from 32 villages will take part. The union is going to hold the protest to attract attention of the government if it will not hear the voice of people then we will be forced to hold fiery protest in future.”
