Jharkhand Vikas Morcha just ahead of the Monsoon Session that would be followed by Assembly polls has decided to stage dharnas across all the districts headquarters on July 7. The party would expose issues concerning the people like poor law and order, corruption, power situation and inflation.
While the party supremo Babulal Marandi would lead the protest at Dhanbad highlight of the programme would be gherao of the Secretariat at Ranchi. JVM general secretary Pradeep Yadav would lead the gherao. “The Government had failed on all the fronts. Citizens are living under fear and without any sense of security. There are areas of the State which have gone out of the hands of the Government. Example of Khunti is the latest in that line. We have decided to replicate the anger of the people are living with,” said Yadav addressing a press conference on Friday.
During the protest at Secretariat the party and its workers would obstruct the official works there and also not allow any Minister or Secretary to enter into the building. “The party would disturb work there. It is because they are not performing any work whatsoever. This Government has no guts to go in interior areas and make sure that schools are open due to the naxal fear,” added the MlA.Yadav on the occasion also recited data related to crime for last six months which suggested 120 incidents of murder, 52 loot, 129 robbery and 627 of vehicle theft have taken place in Jharkhand.
